Hello fellow foodies, I’m Kristina, dedicated nutrition “nut” since about 1980.
I was an elite runner in San Francisco, searching for ways to help stay in peak condition and concerned about what was going in to my body. At that time there were so many “fad” diets trending that I decided to learn more about what nutrition is.
I am now a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) with training from Pima Medical Institute. I have also obtained a certificate in Understanding Nutrition from the American Academy of Nutrition.
I continue to be amazed and inspired as science and research forges ahead on a daily basis to provide us with even more knowledge about nutrition. More than ever I believe that a good diet and healthy lifestyle is your insurance to a longer, happier, healthier life.
